About James Herman
James leads the Ecommerce Logistics business for Maersk in North America. Prior to joining Maersk, James spent the early years of his career in the electronics distribution and contract manufacturing industry, leading global sales and marketing teams with leading companies such as Arrow Electronics, ITT and Flextronics. More recently he was SVP of sales and marketing for XPO Logistics – Supply Chain and chief commercial officer for Tompkins International. He is also on the board of directors at the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship in Greensboro, North Carolina. James has significant leadership experience and a unique perspective of strategy, commerce, technology and supply chain in the dynamic and fast-growing ecommerce logistics market. James is a graduate of the Ohio State University with a degree in Accounting. He is married with two adult sons. In his free time, James enjoys cycling, sailing and skiing as well as global travel with his family.
