About Fernanda Daudt

Fernanda Daudt is a designer and consultant for the creative industry, with experience in trend forecasting, sourcing development, and sustainable product design. She is the founder of Volta ATELIER, a startup project of upcycled leather bags hand-stitched by Haitian women refugees living in the South of Brazil.
In her more than 15 years of experience in the market, Fernanda has participated in conceptual projects such as Referências Brasileiras, by Assintecal, and Mix by Brazil, the Instituto by Brasil. One of the characteristics of Fernanda''s work is the use of handcrafted production elements in the making of accessories and components. She presented one of these cases in the panel "Designing the Development" at the 3rd Global Creative Industries Conference at the University of Hong Kong in 2017. In February 2019, Fernanda was invited to present VOLTA ATELIER''s case in the Seminar "Good for the Earth, Good for the People", held by the Library Study Hall in the United Nations Headquarters.
Fernanda is currently the Marketing Chair of the NYC Fair Trade Coalition.
