About Dana Hall & Brecc Avellar
Dana Hall joined Core Development Group as General Counsel in 2019. Prior to that she created her own boutique energy law practice and worked both in-house with energy companies and for energy sector non-profits. She also teaches environmental and climate classes at Purchase College, and has a J.D. from Pace University School of Law, a Masters in Environmental Education from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from The Ohio State University.
Brecc Avellar is Core Development’s Vice President for Development, leading new business development for the firm. Prior to joining Core Development, Brecc has had a 30+ year career in traditional and renewable energy projects development including gas & oil fired as well as waste-to-energy power generation coupled with solar. Brecc has held executive level positions at Johnson Controls, Ameresco, and Off the Grid Energy Works developing renewable energy project portfolios around the world. He has a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and as an accredited financial fiduciary he has led numerous projects through fresh finance-design-build as well as mergers & acquisitions and structured re-finance work-outs.
